Integrated and Circular, 13.2 MW-e Waste Wood-to-Energy Plant (WWtE), Singapore
Sobono is pleased to announce the joint development of a Waste Wood-to-Energy International Renewable Energy Certificate (I-REC) Plant project in Singapore. This project presents many firsts in Singapore and represents a significant step forward in our commitment to sustainability and innovation.
The project will serve as a waste-to-resource hub, capitalising on solid co-location synergies and ensuring efficient land use. Sobono will cover the entire value chain, from design, planning, EPC, operation and maintenance, and optimisation to delivering date-time stamped RECs and expanding to marine vessel charging.
This project is a bold first-mover initiative to develop a future-relevant and viable circular model while diving deep into biomass-to-resource potential in parallel paths.
We believe that this project has the potential to make a significant contribution to Singapore's sustainability goals and its transition to a clean energy future.
